I moved from the Buckingham/London area to my new home in Helensburgh, Scotland and redesigned my life as well as my brand.
Here is what you get when you call on me; Thirty years experience of Creative Director-level branding, illustration, copywriting and design professional with a broad Scottish accent and a flair for delivery and presentation. I am fluent in traditional prepress and digital. I also know my way around HTML5, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and SQL. If it’s a CMS system like WordPress, Drupal, Concrete etc I can create themes, plugins etc. I know what I am doing.
I cannot remember not owning a pencil and recall my dad teaching me how to draw a human figure in proportion. That led to illustration, which led to design and copywriting, all culminating in creative director-level positions in London-based agencies. Along the way, I worked with Kellogg’s (I drew Tony the Tiger’s Magic Tricks), Walkers, BBC, Sony Music and XBox to name a few. I can’t retire. I’d only pick up a pencil and rebrand everything, so I am available for hire as a consultant or hands-on creative for any job needing some extra resources.
